Ingredients
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 3/4 cup Thick Poha
- 1/2 cup Jawar Flour
- 1/2 cup Rice Flour
- 1/2 cup Besan / Gram Flour
- 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons Red Chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain / Carom seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
- 4 Green Chillies
- 1 Ginger, an inch long
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- Coriander leaves
Instructions
- Knead flours, water soaked poha, spices and other ingredients (except sesame seeds) into stiff dough. Rest dough for 15 minutes.
- Roll or pat portion of dough into flat round shaped bread. Sprinkle sesame seeds onto it.
- Bake over hot tawa till it appears cooked on both sides. Grease with oil if required.
- Serve hot thalipeth with yogurt.
