Pudachi Vadi
Fried snack stuffed with green cilantro and poppy seeds mixture

Ingredients
For Stuffing
- 4 cups Cilantro, finely chopped
- 3 Green chillies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Poppy seeds
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Tumeric powder
- Salt to taste
For cover
- 2 cups Bengal gram flour / Besan
- 1/2 cup Regular Atta
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seed powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Tumeric powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Knead besan, atta, cumin seed powder, salt and turmeric powder with little water into soft dough. Allow to rest.
- Heat oil. Splutter cuming seeds and green chillies. Stir fry chopped cilantro. Cover and cook till they are cooked.
- Add poppy seeds, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and keep aside.
- Roll round flatbread from piece of dough. Place mixture in centre and roll. Seal edges.
- Deep fry till golden brown on all sides.
- Serve Pudachi Vadi hot with ketchup.
