Nimmakaya Atukulu
Tangy, lemony cooked beaten rice

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Beaten Rice / Thick Poha
- 1/2 teaspoon Chana Dal
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Urad Dal
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1/8 teaspoon Hing
- Handful of Peanuts
- 1 sprig Curry Leaves
- 3 green chillies, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 2 Dried red chillies
- Salt to taste
- 1 Lemon
Instructions
- Wash and soak poha with water. Drain. Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and keep aside.
- Heat oil. Splutter mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, peanuts, green chillies, red chillies, curry leaves and hing. Roast for a minute.
- Add poha and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add lemon juice. Mix well.
- Serve Nimmakaya Atukulu hot.
