Layapitta panchakajjayya

Simple 5 ingredient recipe used as prasad. Broken puffed paddy flour mixed with jaggery and ghee.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup broken puffed paddy/layapitto
  • A pinch cardamom powder
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons grated/powdered jaggery
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon ghee

Instructions

  1. Mix grated coconut with jaggery well.
  2. Add broken puffed paddy flour /layapitto and mix well.
  3. Add a pinch of cardamom powder and ghee.
  4. Served as prasad.
