Karamali Loncha
Spicy starfruit pickle

Ingredients
- 4 cups Star fruit, chopped
- 4 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Mustard dal
- 2 tablespoons Kashmiri chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Asafetida
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice or Vinegar
Instructions
- Combine starfruit with salt and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add asafetida and mustard dal. Saute till lightly brown.
- Add chili powder and turmeric powder. Turn off the flame and add star fruit. Mix well.
- Add lemon juice or vinegar and mix well.
- Store Karamali loncha in a sterile air tight container.
