Bread made during ceremonies in Ladakh. It is presented when a girl child is born. In Baltis and Shin tribes, it is also presented by the grooms family to the brides family during marriage ceremonies.

- Thick round bread made from wheat flour
- Sugar added if required
- The edges are turned, twisted and pressed to give a woven appearance.
- Cooked in oil
