Deep fried yam

Ingredients
- 1 cup Elephant yam, cut into small squares
- A pinch Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Coconut oil
Instructions
- Keep yam immersed for some time in water to which turmeric powder and salt has been added.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry yam until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve Chena upperi with rice.
