Baathu Ki Kheer

Bathu ki kheer is a special dessert from Himachal Pradesh prepared with Chenopodium seeds, milk and sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bathu seeds
  • 1 liter Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Broken dry fruits
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee

Instructions

  1. Boil milk. Add baathu seeds and stir for 2 minutes.
  2. Add sugar and cook until milk thickens.
  3. Garnish with fried dry fruits and a tsp of ghee.
  4. Serve Bathu ki kheer hot or cold.
