Saggu Biyyam Murukulu

Crunchy tapioca fried snack

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Sago, soaked in buttermilk for 3 hrs.
  • 2 cups Rice Flour
  • 1/2 cup Besan Flour
  • 1/2 cup Fried Gram / Daliya / Putnalu, ground to powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Chilly Powder
  • 50 grams Oil

Instructions

  1. Mix flour with hot oil, salt and chilli powder. Add soaked sago and knead into soft dough.
  2. Using muruku / chakli press, extrude dough into hot oil. Deep fry murukus till golden brown on all sides.
  3. Store Saggu Biyyam Murukulu in air tight container.
