Soup made from coconut milk and brahmi leaves

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Vandelaga (brahmi) leaves
  • 5 green chilles
  • 3/4 cup grated Coconut, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ghee
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon tamarind extract
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee and fry the leaves till they turn yellowish.
  2. Remove from pan and fry coconut(without oil) for 2-3 min.
  3. Grind coconut and leaves with all other ingredients.
  4. Add salt and serve with rice.
